  • Responsibilities

    Deliver customer packages with care

    Work 4–5 days a week, approximately 10 hours per day

    Complete mandatory safety training

    Interact with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner

    Use handheld technology to manage the delivery process

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    Must be at least 21+ years of age

    Must possess a high school diploma or educational equivalent

    Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record

    Must be able to move boxes up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation

    Must have good communication skills and the ability to work well with customers

    Previous experience is a plus (optional)

    Ability to operate smartphone and GPS technology without aide

    Consent to a background check/criminal check and provide a clean, recent Drivers Abstract

We focus on delivering every package on-time in the best form, so our customers can enjoy their “unboxing” experience and fill their day with joy.

    Role summary

    As a Dispatcher, you execute the routing plan, maintain contact with drivers and control asset utilization. You are the key contact for the day’s challenges and ready to make changes in response to emergencies, or to driver performance, in order to support our goal of enhancing the customer experience.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Prepare next day shift by using the DA tracker (DPI Scorecard)

    On-time attendance on the day of shift, preparing (red bags, rabbits) add details on daily tracker

    Ensure all DAs Clock-in, safe in the station and wearing the needed gear

    Any no shows should be replaced and communicated to supervisor

    Vans enter the pre launch pad in agreed time and loading occurs at wave time

    Assists drivers in loading vans to hit on time dispatch, any challenges need to be communicated to supervisor

    Fill the Daily Tracker and review fleet inspections

    Send daily communication

    Updates the Operations Manager on delivery status including any delays that occur.

    Check company assets and update them at the end of day

    Supporting the supervisor in creating the weekly schedule

    Monitors road conditions, construction zones, and accidents in order to revise routes as needed.

    Coordinates driver’s weekly schedules, and ensures timesheets

    Communicate any on-road issues (accidents/problems) directly with supervisor

    Qualifications

    High School Diploma or College Degree is required.

    Proven experience as dispatcher or relevant position is an asset.

    Start times between 6:00-700am at the allocated station
